On July 16-17, 2025, SHD Academy organized the round 1:1 face-to-face interview for students with Dr. Forest Christoph Hoffmann – Former Member of the German Federal Parliament, former Mayor of Bad Bellingen City, currently representative of GIVT organization.
This activity is within the framework of the strategic cooperation program between SHD and GIVT to connect young Vietnamese human resources with a prestigious dual vocational training enterprise system in Germany.
Through testing rounds including aptitude tests (including psychological, logic, math tests, etc.), professional practice tests, short-term memory tests and personal interviews, Dr. Hoffmann directly talked with each student in the following groups:
Dr. Christoph Hoffmann interacted with SHD students during the meeting.
The highlight of the interview is not only the assessment of language and thinking skills, but also the two-way exchange about career orientation, progressive spirit, integration ability and professional style - essential factors for successful working in the German environment.
Dr. Christoph Hoffmann shared after the interview: “I am very impressed with the serious preparation of the young SHD students. They not only have a good foundation in German but also demonstrate a receptive attitude, a sense of responsibility and a desire to deeply integrate into the working culture in Germany. This is the generation of young workers that German businesses are looking for.”
With comprehensive preparation from SHD Academy – from German language training, interview skills training, psychological preparation for integration, to legal support and clear career orientation – the students entered the interview with confidence, courage and professionalism.
Students take a short-term memory test.
Duong Doan Huong - Sales student shared: "At first, I was quite nervous, especially the short-term memory test. But thanks to the staff from the Business - Foreign Affairs Department always being there to reassure me, I felt much more secure.
After the interview, I realized that practicing pronunciation and increasing vocabulary is extremely important to understand and respond quickly to German people. I think I tried my best and am quite satisfied with my performance.”
The face-to-face interview with Dr. Christoph Hoffmann is not only an opportunity for students to verify their language skills and professional demeanor, but also their confidence during the interview process. This is the premise for them to approach partner businesses, be selected and sign training contracts, and gradually move towards visas, exit, and integration into a European standard working environment.
