1. Exam introduction

TECL (abbreviation of The European Language Certificates) – European Language Certificate. This is a language proficiency test according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). TELC is widely recognized in many countries, especially German-speaking countries.

The TELC exam is organized by the European Language Center (TELC) in Germany. TELC German is divided into levels, from A1 to C2 according to the European framework.

TELC certificate is equivalent to Goethe-Zertifikat, TestDaF, ÖSD,... and fully satisfies the conditions to apply for a German visa for all purposes: studying abroad, vocational training, Au-Pair to family reunification in the Federal Republic of Germany.

SHD Education meets TELC's rigorous standards and is honored to be one of the three Unit coordinating the organization of the TELC international German language certificate exam in Vietnam. Every year, SHD Education receives over 1500 candidates registering for the TELC exam, which is usually held monthly.

4. TELC B1, B2 exam structure

4.2 Scoring method

TELC exam Each German language skill is assessed independently. TELC's scoring method ensures fairness, allowing for score offsets between skills.

Maximum score: The maximum score of the TELC B1, B2 exam is 300 points. The minimum score to obtain the B1, B2 Certificate is 180 points (accounting for 60% of the total score of the entire exam). In which:

+ Writing section (Schriftliche Prüfung): Minimum requirement 135 points/ 225 points

+ Writing section (Schriftliche Prüfung): Minimum requirement 45 points/ 75 points

Certificate Classification:

+ Excellent (sehr gut): 270-300 points

+ Good (gut): 240-269.5 points

+ Fairly (befriedigend): 210-239.5 points

+ Achieved: 180-209 points

4.3 How to graft

TELC Compounding is a form that allows candidates to retake only part of the TELC exam, if the result is not satisfactory.

4.3.1 Conditions for TELC diploma

Have taken and passed one of the two parts of the TELC test: Speaking or Writing

Validity of the certificate: Within 12 months of the following year from the date of issuance of the certificate.

4.3.2 Register for re-examination

Contact SHD Education to register for a retake of the missing TELC exam section. Candidates must provide their existing certificate and personal information.

4.3.3 Receive certificate

Once the new exam results are available, candidates will be issued a new TELC certificate, which will clearly state the results of both exams.

5. TELC exam fee

The fee for each test for both skills (Speaking & Writing) is: 5,500,000 VND

The exam fee for Writing skills (Listening - Reading - Writing) is: 5,000,000 VND

The exam fee for Speaking skill is: 5,000,000 VND

Note:

In case of taking a combined exam, students need to send a scanned copy of the skills they have achieved to the center (within a maximum of 12 months from the time of the exam), and submit a hard copy at least 7 days before the exam date.
Candidates who register for the exam have the right to transfer their exam slot to another candidate before the registration list is finalized.

To register for a TELC exam review, candidates need to send a review request to the address e-mail: telc@duhocducshb.com. The appeal application must include the following basic information:

Personal information (Personaldaten: Name, Geburtsdatum, Email, Tel.)
Information on exam date and location (Prüfungsdatum, -ort)
Diploma number (Teilnehmernummer)
